Help the Environment
Everyone wishes to help the environment, it is what we all want but we often don’t follow through with our thoughts. There are simple ways to recycle which help the environment but also isn’t a hassle for you. I’ve written the following article to help people know how they can help the environment without is taking loads of time or costing loads of money.
As a nation we are starting to recycle glass, cans, cardboard and paper. I know that in my county if you don’t recycle and you are seen consistently to not be recycling your waste you are at risk of being fined. Although in my area the bin men do not collect plastic I would advise people to start recycling it. It’s easy to save all your plastic up in boxes and take it to the recycling tip when you are over loaded. This can be done once a month and you are contributing to the environment, plastic is a material which doesn’t help the environment at all and it should be taken as seriously as cans and paper. Why don’t you do a neighbourhood effort? Take it in turns to take it to the recycling skips, this means you’ll be taking it even less often.
Recycling your old mobile phones is another way. If you throw them in the bin they get put into land a fill sight which again isn’t good for the environment. By recycling the phones it will possible get sent to third world countries. Helping poorer people to afford phones and it decreases the amount of phones going into landfills.
Why not recycle your cartridges or toners? They will either be disposed of correctly or they will be refilled and sold to other people. If you’d rather, why not save money? Get your old cartridge filled instead of purchasing a new cartridge. Not only will it save you money but you’re decreasing the amount of cartridges going into landfills.
